The inspiration that stems from the journey has always been the forefront of Michel’Le’s creative process. “She has always been a designer” so it only made sense that she would study at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and after she graduated with her BFA, she began her endeavors of global understanding in China.

Traveling through different parts of Asia and meeting expats from different countries forced Michel’Le to be inspired. Through the Michel’Le Forrest brand we are able to backpack through the Tibetan region, converse with Senegalese natives, and understand the world is all connected through art.
